We are a kedai kayu in Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu, supplying construction-grade sawn hardwood, plywood and hand-carved Chengal roof finials to hardware stores, contractors and traditional builders across Peninsular Malaysia. Timber here is priced and sold by the ton — which in the Malaysian trade means a cubic metre. Send us your sections and we will do the arithmetic.
We close on Friday, not Sunday
Yard hours are 0830 to 1730, Saturday through Thursday. We are closed all day Friday — Friday is the rest day in Terengganu. If you are driving up from Kuala Lumpur, Penang or Johor, note that we are open on Saturday and on Sunday and shut on Friday, which is the opposite of what most visitors assume. Walk in any time during yard hours — no appointment needed. For a long trip after something specific, ring ahead and we will have it pulled and waiting.

Three ways in, depending on what you need
A trade or bulk quote. Browse the catalogue — 90+ sawn-timber sizes — build a cart and submit the form. A freight quote comes back by email within one business day. Lorry delivery to site anywhere in Peninsular Malaysia, forklift offload on request. Freight is always quoted separately from the timber price. Non-standard sections are sourced to spec, and kiln treatment is available on request.
A quick question. Species, sizes, whether a section is in the rack today: WhatsApp is fastest. We carry Chengal, Balau, Meranti, Damar Hitam, Kekatung, Nyatoh, Resak, Kempas, Merbau, Jelutong, Sepetir and Mengkulang, for framing, rafters, decking and formwork.
A finial commission. Tunjuk langit and buah buton — the crown of the traditional Malay roof — are hand-carved from Chengal in two sizes. That one is a conversation, so call or email.
